Really great vibe and fantastic wine. But the food is super lacking. Ten pastas with a bit of butter, peppers that are nice but whatever, cheese that sounds good but not delivered. Skip the food and just get wine

My favorite wine bar. I keep coming over with friends, family, and colleagues:)
Feels like Europe, great wine, tiny dishes.

It all started with me trying to get the attention of one of the waitresses, I waited next by even trying to start a conversation, but I was invisible -- and literally walked right past me like I wasn’t there.
So I sat myself down at one of the available tables outside.
About a minute later, a waitress came by. I was just about to ask for a menu when I got hit with, “Are you on the list?”
I replied, “I think we booked a table, I’m just waiting for a couple of friends.”
And got back -- “There are no reservations available. Are you on the list?”
I had no idea what list, since there were three empty tables around, so it didn’t even occur to me there was a waiting list. I said, “No, I’m not on the list,” and got shot back, “Then you need to get up.”
Since there was clearly no one waiting to be seated, I wanted to ask, “Can I just wait here for a minute until someone actually needs the table?” But the angry face had already stormed off, and me being me, I just got up and sat on a bench one meter away, staring at the empty table I had just been kicked out of - wondering if I was about to get asked to leave the city bench too
Anyway, five minutes later, another waitress, who was actually quite nice sat us down.
From that point on, things got better, almost.
We were chatting when a loud noise surprised us, the sound of ceramic plate hitting our metal table. No word, just sharp movement throwing the plate our table, with immediate walk away. I guess they have other, more important things on their plate rather than treating thier guests with the bare minimum you expect from a fellow human being.
Honestly, the attitude reflects the soul of the place: condescending. They serve decent wine and good food, but the seating is cheap and uncomfortable, crammed onto a dirty street -- way overpriced -- with a premium price tag of 225 ILS per person.
Highly not recommended.
