Favela - פאבלה יד אליהו

If you're looking for a chilled, local vibe in the heart of Yad Eliyahu, Favela is a fantastic neighborhood find. The atmosphere is laid-back with great background music that’s perfectly leveled so you can actually enjoy a conversation, whether you're sitting inside or at one of the street-side tables. I opted for the Schnitzel Challah meal paired with a cold Sprite, and it was pure comfort food. The challah was incredibly soft, and the schnitzel had that authentic, homemade touch that’s hard to beat. One of the highlights is the variety of sauces available, allowing you to customize every bite exactly how you like it. Also, don't miss out on the mashed potato balls (Pura balls), they were perfectly tender and melted in my mouth. Highly recommended for a satisfying, high-quality local meal!

I used to love Favela until I ended up in the emergency room with severe food poisoning after eating their burger... I'm waiting for the bill to come in. Not going to eat there ever again.
