I came to Dante with a party of 20 for a large work event, and they had customized the menu for us, which was pretty unique and a very nice touch. Then the food was absolutely delicious, the chicken was so well cooked, but really everything was great. I’ll definitely plan to come back again in the future

Dante is hands down my favorite brunch spot in NYC! The atmosphere perfectly captures the authentic charm of the West Village, warm, lively and effortlessly stylish! The drinks are always outstanding, and they serve what is, in my opinion, the best Bloody Mary in New York!! Every cocktail is crafted to perfection and makes brunch here feel extra special. What keeps me coming back, though, is the consistently impeccable service. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and always makes you feel taken care of. If you’re looking for an amazing brunch, incredible drinks, and a true West Village vibe, Dante never disappoints. A New York classic that lives up to the hype every single time! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’d been meaning to come for years and finally made birthday reservations for our good friend. Two of us arrived early and had no problem waiting but the hosts worked to make sure we got seated early. Ram was our server and he was absolutely fantastic. He got us on the martini hour menu immediately and had us waiting for the rest of our group with our drinks. The food was lovely, nothing took too long, the martinis being served table side were a nice touch. Ram noticed we needed more bread and sent it over. He helped us with our birthday celebration and was very kind and attentive. We had a great time!

we had been wanting to come here for so long and honestly thought it would be worth the hype, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t for us… we actually left still hungry and ended up going somewhere else to eat. chicken really didn’t work for us both the dish itself and especially the presentation. it honestly looked like someone had just pulled it apart and put it on the plate, and we didn’t even end up eating it. the potatoes, though, were delicious and probably the best thing we had that night!!!🥔 the burrata salad was nice too, but the portion felt quite small, with just one piece of burrata. maybe it’s just personal preference the cocktails were good, but definitely not a “wow” moment for me. 🍸 the service was fine, although the servers were constantly circling around our table, which somehow didn’t add much to the experience!!! nothing was particularly bad, but there also wasn’t anything that made the evening feel special. i know this is a bar, and i totally understand that the food might not be the main focus. but then i think the menu should still feel a little more thoughtful, even when it comes to the snacks and smaller dishes. if you’re positioning yourselves as a «dining» place as well, the food needs to live up to that expectation!!! i’m really just sharing my personal experience because i genuinely don’t understand the queue and all the hype around this place. maybe we caught it on an off night, or maybe a new menu will change things and i really hope it does✨ for us, though, the hype simply didn’t match the experience.

Lovely outdoor seating and several good vegan, glutenfree food options. I got the vegan yoghurt with glutenfree granola, which was really good. Coffee is strong, and service is attentive. The patio is beautiful for brunch on a sunny morning.
