On Tuesday 30th June I was in your Dundrum branch and the experience was not great.
I requested a regular Americano which I had to repeat a few times but was given and charged for a large.
When I got the coffee it was burnt - the water was too hot and the coffee tasted burnt and I could not drink.
I also got a chicken giro flatbread which I asked to have heated - I was handed back a sandwich that was burnt and totally black on the edges.
I appreciate the gentleman serving was busy but it resulted in my paying for a sandwich and drink that was not acceptable and I left behind.
I also sent this information to your customer service and did not receive a reply or even acknowledgement.
Not great service from Costa as a whole
The food is nice. Prices are reasonable.
Staff is hardworking...
But somehow, the cutlery is not getting washed properly, i guess. I was given 2 sets, both had knives with residues of food on them.
Very disappointing experience. I wasn’t expecting anything amazing but this was still a very disappointing visit. My order wasn’t complete and the staff seemed tired and not properly trained. There were no cutlery or napkins provided which is basic service.
On top of that. the flat white was served in a 12oz cup with loads of foam. Definitely not a flat white. Overall, poor attention to detail and service. Wouldn’t recommend based on this visit.
Amazing staff, very Accomadation’s to my unusual coffee order with a squirt of each syrup! The girl with the bangs served me and was very polite🙏 As the saying goes “ come for the coffee and stay for the barista”. I could have spent the rest of the day and a lifetime staring into her eyes , pity there was a queue of others or I’d still be there! keep up the excellent service
I love the Costa in Dundrum. All the staff are very friendly, especially Haroon , izzy,bruna Carolina — they are very quick and attentive.
My favourite coffee is the matcha with coconut milk and berry syrup. I recommend it to everyone!
