Cortile Spirito Santo was our best dining experience in Ortigia. We had the tasting menu and the food was perfect, as was the wine suggested by the sommelier. The ambience was quiet with good music. We had dinner in the outdoor garden facing the dome of Chiesa dello Spirito Santo. The service was very kind, organized, and attentive. Each course was patiently explained and some of them were finalized at the table. They even provided a surprise for my wife’s birthday. We highly recommend it and will surely be back when we return to the city.
A truly standout experience and easily the highlight of my time in Sicily. The tasting menu was a masterclass in flavor, with the kitchen demonstrating exceptional technical skill and creativity.
Two dishes in particular were unforgettable: the tuna and watermelon starter was a refreshing, precise composition, while the main tuna course offered a depth of umami I have never experienced elsewhere, undoubtedly the best preparation of tuna I have ever encountered. The progression of three dessert courses provided a perfect, artistic conclusion to the meal.
A special mention must go to the sommelier, Antonio. His expertise is truly global, but it is his style and genuine passion for sharing wine that sets him apart. He took the time to personalize every aspect of our pairing, ensuring it felt bespoke to our table.
All of this, combined with an inviting atmosphere and impeccable service, makes this restaurant an absolute must-visit.

The wine selection was excellent as well, thoughtfully chosen to complement the menu perfectly.

Talk about a hidden gem! We had the tasting menu and we felt like every single dish was better than the last. In addition the wine suggestions from our sommelier were amazing. We truly had one of the best dining experiences.
We had one of our best meals ever here. The food was phenomenal, each dish blowing us away. The staff were wonderful, walking us through each dish perfectly. The atmosphere was warm, yet elegant.
One tiny point, we had the wine pairing, which was nice to try different wines, but we felt it was a bit top heavy, and we didn't have a pairing with dessert which we found strange.
Otherwise, a memorable experience, we would definitely recommend, with the food being the stand out.
