Compartir was an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant staff were very detail oriented and walked us through the entire menu. Lots of great dishes but we personally felt like we should have skipped the paella and went for more small dishes since everything they had in that section was so creative and delicious.
Amazing experience! If you are looking for a great place to bring your significant other, or if you want to go above and beyond with your friends or family, this is your spot. Every dish is carefully crafted and you won’t go wrong with any choice. The staff is precessional, nice and attentive to every detail. We will come back for sure.
We opted for the suprise menu. At around 100 EUR per person without drinks it wasn't cheap, but we felt it was a fair price for what amounted to at least fourteen different dishes. The flavour combinations weren't always as interesting as they could have been, but the presentation can't be faulted. There were a few dishes that we really liked, such as the signature caviar dish. I've had better meals in Michelin-starred restaurants at that price point, but I was still happy that we went as it was nice to try such a diverse menu.
Food was pretty amazing for the price. The oyster and pork were my favorite two dishes. However, the young waitress at our table kept reminding us to order every 5 minutes even after we had clearly explained we need more time. And after we finally surrendered saying we need her assistant with the menu, the ordering process went rather unpleasant and completely ruined the vibe. Other waiters were professional and attentive though.
We came for lunch, and the restaurant was completely full, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was beautifully presented, and we really enjoyed the overall vibe.
Unfortunately, the service was a completely different story. One of the waitresses was surprisingly unfriendly and came across as quite arrogant. We felt ignored throughout the meal. Our bottle of cava was left far from the table, and no one ever offered to refill our glasses- we had to get up and do it ourselves.
It’s a shame because the restaurant has great potential. The food deserves much better service.
