We came to Tel Aviv from Los Angeles. At one point, my partner expressed a desire for carbs and eggs. I immediately thought of this cuisine for obvious reasons. After searching on the web I found this place. Talk about authentic. One of those classic Tel-Avivian hole in the wall spots that delivers a direct route to another culture. That’s the magic of multiculturalism in Tel Aviv, and this place is exemplary of that. The family has been making food here since 1980. That’s 46 years of sharing Georgian culture with Israelis and travelers from all over the world. Wonderful texture, wonderful flavor, great service, warm genuineness. Loved it.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. We are visiting from Toronto and I don’t get to have Georgian food often so finding this place accidentally on google was pleasant. The food was phenomenal, the owner was so kind and showed nothing but good and kind energy. They have Georgian beers and really amazing dinner good and street food. 10/10!
Super lively atmosphere! Loud music and the energy of the Carmel Market which is just steps away make this a really fun place to sit, eat, and enjoy a drunk with friends.
