Customer Perception
Customers frequently praise Carnevor for its high-quality steaks, particularly the Wagyu, and its exceptional service, especially for anniversary dinners and other special occasions. Dishes like the Iberico Pork, tuna, and lobster bisque receive high marks. However, some reviews mention an inconsistent experience, with service occasionally feeling rushed and the ambiance (exterior, waiting area, table spacing) not always meeting the expectations for a high-end restaurant. Some customers also found certain dishes overpriced or bland, leading to a perception that the overall value for the high price point could be inconsistent.

The food was amazing but not necessarily all worth the price. The tuna absolutely amazing but was $47 for 3 pieces. I've never had waygu before and it was amazing, worth every penny, and buttery. The lobster Bisque was a little shallow, but there were real pieces of lobster and it had a lot of depth.
Really felt special on this anniversary dinner we just had. The special Happy Anniversary menu greeted us with surprise. Food was really good from start to finish. We love the attention of at least 3-4 servers checking in on us for anything we might need. Most restaurants have at least 1 attendant but theirs is top notch. Keep it up! You made our night truly special. Thanks for the anniversary beignets too!

Absolutely loved our waitress, she was truly what made this experience so much better. She was knowledgeable, friendly and really seemed genuinely happy to work there and help us have a great experience. I had the Iberico Pork that was absolutely out of this world and the bread and butter that's severed to start us was amazing. Drink was just a good as the waitress said it would be.
Overall wonderful experience and we will for sure be back.

I went to Carnevor for my birthday and was a bit disappointed. We got seated and instantly had a server asking us what we wanted to drink and handing us a drink menu which we said we needed a bit to look over. She then came back very quickly after asking us if we were ready to order drinks or appetizers. We still had barely had any time to look at the drink menu as it’s huge. After ordering drinks and a soup and placing a food order right away. It was quiet and nice. But once the food came it’s like every 5 seconds somebody was coming to the table to ask if we were done eating and trying to take the plate away even while my husband was clearly still chewing his food and cutting his steak. They were trying to take his plate away, which I feel is absolutely insane when you are paying $200+ per person at a restaurant. It felt extremely rushed and was not a great experience, it’s not like we sat there and talked all night or were taking up a ton of time. We were there for a hour but the whole experience was not great. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

I went to Carnevor for a surprise dinner for my sister, and overall it was just okay. I would give it about 3 stars.
First impression threw me off. The outside was not lit at all, not even the name, and it looked a little run down. Based on the website, I expected something more elevated. Coming from Arizona, I am used to steakhouses setting the tone from the moment you arrive, and this did not.
Inside, the hosts were not rude, but not welcoming either. There was nowhere to wait, and since it was cold outside, we stood in a tight bar area that felt awkward and cramped. The bartender was great though, very friendly and the highlight of the experience.
Getting to our table was another tight squeeze, weaving between tables did not feel upscale.
Our waitress was nice, but she kept leaving before we could finish asking questions, which made things feel rushed. I did appreciate that she noticed I did not eat my crab cake and removed it from the bill without me saying anything.
For food, I ordered a filet mignon medium well with asparagus and truffled potatoes. The sides were fine but nothing special. The crab cake and my friend’s shrimp appetizer were both bland. On the positive side, the steak salad and lobster soup were enjoyed.
They initially served tap water, but brought Panna when I requested it.
The bill was over $500, and the quality felt more like a chain steakhouse than a high end experience. I appreciated that gratuity was not included and still tipped 18 percent, but overall it was not worth the price. I would not go back.
