I love French cuisine because food is an art form and the ambiance is usually a great experience. The ambiance and service here were excellent. The food was a little underwhelming and more sauce heavy than necessary. We had the Crab Benedict and the Croc Madame for our entrees and the smokes salmon as an appetizer with chocolate tart as a dessert. Everything was average but the smoked salmon was pretty good
I don't have room on this survey enough to convey how special and loved we were made to feel. Rosie Lani Ruff.... will forever have a place at the table with us. Her sincere kindness (rare these days) and overflowing sense of hospitality floored us. We were cradled the moment we arrived. She has a gift and we were generously treated to it for the entire experience. Bouchon is in excellent hands thanks to her.....we are... GRATEFUL.I don't remember the last time I was made to feel like this outside of a family Sunday supper. Brayden is a very obvious cut above. His communication and demeanor smoothly held us in an educated and loving way. He obviously loves what y'all let him do.... provide a service that genuinely feels like home. I was in the restaurant industry for almost 30 years and this experience was rare. Walter also made sure along with Mark, to consistently care for us throughout the evening. We only wish we had a chance to squeeze the lovely cheeks on Braydens little boy!!!! What a blessed father. Thank you Brayden. Now ... the food. Ridiculous yet elegant in its form and delivery. Probably the best meal I've had in a very long long time. Every single morsel from the amazing kitchen wowed us. I ask that our love for the kitchen crew be communicated to each of the members please. They were very kind to us as Rosie gave us a peek behind the curtain. Consummate professionals all of them. When I can't single out one thing above the rest.....it's due to a completely sublime experience....driven by Rosie.Thank you Bouchon...my 15 Year Recovery Anniversary was epic. We hope to return soon. Much respect and love to you all.
I love coming to Bouchon. It is consistently one of my favorite spots, and today’s meal was no exception.
Why I highly recommend it:
The Food: Everything is incredibly fresh. The smoked salmon was high-quality, the berries were perfectly ripe, and the bread (the Epi baguette) is always a highlight—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The Service: The staff is very friendly and professional. You can tell they really care about the guest experience.
The Atmosphere: It has that classic, welcoming bistro feel that makes any meal feel special.
I am a huge fan of Thomas Keller who is the first chef in American history to have 2 Michelin star restaurants simultaneously. I have been lucky enough to eat at the French Laundry in the past and plan to eat at his NYC one when I get the chance. For this occasion I was visiting Vegas for my birthday weekend so I chose Bouchon because this is one of the three Keller restaurants that I have not been to yet. It’s located in the Venetian on the ground floor in a beautiful setting. The dining room is very large with high ceilings and the tables are fairly spread apart, which was really nice. Our server was extremely polite and everything that we ordered arrived fairly quickly.
Pricing here is a little steep, but you do get great quality food in return. I started off with the Salad Lyonnaise and thought it was absolutely fantastic. It was one of the better ones that I’ve had in a long time and I even had other versions of it during this same trip and this one beat all of those. I followed that with the Eye of the Rib and thought it had a great flavor, but for $105 it was a very small portion and it took me about 7 or 8 bites to finish it. It did have amazing flavors, I just think that it was a bit steep price wise for the limited portion you get in return. Overall though I would highly recommend this restaurant and would stop in again next time I’m in Vegas.
Stellar dining experience! Inside nothing has changed since visiting here last so many years ago. Calm, casual, and lively, definitely a good vibe.
Service was on point with well timed delivery and execution of each course. We ordered way too much but when in Vegas, why not?!
Standouts included foie terrine, beef tartar, and steak frites. The hubby was all raves for the sole meunière. Also potato puree was stellar with the fish.
All in, what a memorable experience.
Huge shout out to Dion for taking such good care of US!
