We stumbled upon this lovely cafe right next to the Periplus Bookstore around 9:00 PM while hunting for a late-night spot that served traditional sweets, mocktails, and good coffee. The vibes looked great, but the service turned out to be the absolute highlight of our entire Bali trip. The waitress who served us—though I sadly didn't catch her name—provided the most exceptional hospitality I have ever experienced. Even near closing time, she welcomed us with a massive smile and carefully explained the menu ingredients to help us choose the perfect dish for our mood.
Based on her recommendation, we tried the highly unique "Pisang Goreng Black and Cold." It is a fascinating concept where you dip a hot, caramelized fried banana into ice water to cool the outside before pairing it with ice cream. While the banana itself was excellent, the caramel coating was just a bit too sweet for my personal taste. However, the mocktail was fantastic and very refreshing. That incredible waitress truly deserves a massive shout-out for making our night so unforgettable!
