I had a wonderful experience at Benoit. The interior is beautiful, and the complimentary cheese bread was the perfect start to the meal. It was great enjoying our own champagne alongside their delicious dishes, and the red wine recommendation was excellent. A lovely dining experience—I’ll definitely be back.
Fantastic premium french bistro atmosphere with outstanding dishes. The daurade fish was cooked at the perfection, and I loved the asparagus seasoned with citrus. The sorbet with spices was expectional and the staff was so nice. We had an amazing dinner!

Exceptional Food and Service
What a fantastic meal at Benoît!
The decor is gorgeous, creating a wonderful setting for dinner. Service was excellent from start to finish—attentive and professional.
I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes, and it was cooked perfectly, paired with some of the best mash I’ve ever tasted. Sharing a bottle of crisp Chablis made the meal even better. We ended the night with desserts—the profiteroles are a must-try!
It’s definitely a bit of a splurge, but the quality of the food and service makes it worth every euro.

Historic 1912 bistro with classic Belle Époque decor. Michelin-starred traditional French cooking: escargots, cassoulet, tête de veau, tarte Tatin. Polished service. Pricey for a bistro (~€80+ dinner), but still one of the best authentic versions in Paris.
Go for the fish to share! Superb.

This is a lovely family-run restaurant that reflects the classic style of an old French restaurant. I really appreciate that they have preserved the traditional decoration, table settings, and cutlery. Everything inside the restaurant makes you feel like you have stepped back in time.
I visited during lunchtime and ordered the set lunch menu. The starter was brioche saucisson, which really surprised me. The outside was golden brown and slightly crispy. The sausage seemed to be baked inside the bread, which made it both flavourful and comforting.
For the main course, I chose the back of cod, which was cooked perfectly. The fish was very silky and tender.
For dessert, I ordered the Armagnac savarin, but it was a little disappointing for me. I expected a slice of cake with cream, but the cake was soaked with Armagnac, which the waiter added in front of me. Even though the wine was sweet, it left a slightly bitter aftertaste, and the soaked texture wasn’t something I enjoyed.
I also ordered wine to pair with the meal, but I think it wasn’t really necessary. Interestingly, the madeleine and chocolate served at the end of the meal were actually better than the dessert. The madeleine was freshly baked with a slightly crispy outside, which was delicious.
Overall, this restaurant is worth visiting if you want to experience a traditional French atmosphere and enjoy classic dishes that are not commonly found in other restaurants.
