Showed up right at 1100 and there was a wrap around the corner line. It moved fairly well though. Waited about 40 minutes and they had run out of pork belly at that point. We were still able to get many delicious options. The jalapeño cheese sausage was delicious. The turkey was done nicely with some good spice on it and it was juicy. The brisket had a great flavor, nice bark and great texture. The ribs were good, but they add sauce to it and I would prefer it dry. Lamb chops were absolutely amazing. We tried a side called pork stew and it was pretty good but was the show stopper was the green spaghett. That green sauce was addictive. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re driving in the area. Come out and support local businesses!
We all know how good the food is at Barb‘s! But let me highlight the best Counter Team in Texas BBQ.
The slicer took the time to dip the brisket back in its own juices before he put it on our tray. And the rest of the team were just as caring.
Yes, the brisket is sublime, melting your mouth with an excellent bark. The ribs were like nothing I’ve ever tasted before and I can’t wait to have them again.

We have been to nearly all of the Texas Monthly Top 10 and can confidently say that Barbs BQ is among the best BBQ spots in Texas.
Absolutely everything is wonderful here, but the highlights for us were: the Molotov pork ribs, the green spaghet, the pork stew, the brisket (on par with the best in Texas), the cornbread, and the desserts. They had a pineapple upside down cobbler when we went. They also piloted a strawberry limeade when we went and I hope they keep it on the menu permanently.
We got there at 10:20am, 40 minutes before they opened, and only waited about 30 minutes after they opened, the line moved quickly.
The staff here is the best. They were informative, attentive, kind, and managed their small dining area with precision and ease.
I would be shocked if Barbs BQ doesn’t even up in the top 10 next time, and wouldn’t be surprised if it ascends to #1 sooner than later. This is among my favorite bbq spots in all of Texas!

AMAZING! Deserves all of the accolades! Brisket was soooo juicy and bark was perfect. The spaghett side was something i have never had and i want it every day now! Ribs had perfect amount of sweet and the lime zest is a great addition. We were thrilled to see Chuck, the pitmaster working the counter with the passion she has for making great BBQ and people happy shining through! I am trying to check off my Texas BBQ passport every trip i make to the state, but this one demands repeat visits!!! Cute town, cute restaurant and the service was outstanding as well! Save room and Don’t skip on the pudding! We had the Tray for Two and it was perfect!!!

My take: extremely good. Not great. Not worth the $70 for two people.
Went to Blacks BBQ. Different, but better. Plus we took home 3 frozen chickens and 2 pounds of chopped beef for $35.00.
Service was extremely slow. Plasticwear was weak.
