We visited for the first time and were immediately welcomed into a cosy and lively restaurant. The staff, that all seem to be family, are very friendly and helpful, even though our knowledge of German is somewhat limited. You could tell this is a popular venue, since people continued coming in all the time we were seated. As for the food, I must say we had one of the best Wiener Schnitzels ever. This place is certainly well worth a visit.
We were sitting at the table. We had a nice main meal. Sadly at 9.10 pm we asked for the dessert menu but the kitchen was closed. Without even noticing us... a bit disappointed...
Very characteristic charming small restaurant, good home cooking and excellent value. We ate here as a party of 5, three of us had the daily menu which was really nice. Service was friendly and quick. Recommended.
Rather poor. The Schnitzel was pretty tough mainly because it hadn't been properly beaten (geklopft) , I've eaten hundreds of Schnitzels in Austria and I know what I'm talking about. Worse still, the lady tried to explain to me that I should have said upfront how I wanted the meat. If the food is bad, it's the customers fault - really? I think the staff need some training in customer handling. The Schnitzel came with potatoes that were 'gebraten', well I understand something a bit different by that.
