Had a wonderful dinner . Loved the vibe and aesthetic of the restaurant. The owner was very nice and the host was very welcoming.
I enjoyed everything we ordered. I love the grilled shrimp the most,it was delicious.
They were busy on a Thursday night so make sure to do a reservation.
This place is superb! Everything was delicious. Three of us shared the flambeed saganaki and tinned fish cart to start. Then we shared the swordfish, lamb and beef stew - amazing! Lastly we shared one vanilla tart as we were so full. Can’t wait to go back! Our new favorite!
Such a beautiful and inviting restaurant - you feel comfortable and welcome the moment you walk through the door. The food is absolutely delicious - we tried almost everything and have so many favorites already! We are so excited to have this gem of a restaurant in Carbondale and can’t wait for our next visit.
I chose Amara as a date night spot for my husband and I, and I couldn’t have better things to say about this spot!
It is cozy and lively. The staff are welcoming and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve been effortlessly transported to a neighborhood European restaurant. Each of the dishes we ordered were all so flavorful. Highly reccomend the grilled dates, candied carrots, Harissa lambchops, tomato fatoush, fish crudo and of course— you cannot go wrong with the fresh butter, crostinis and caviar.
Had such a wonderful time here with my family! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every dish we ordered was absolutely outstanding. You can really tell they care about quality and flavor. We left happy, full, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!
