The food is awesome some of the best I have ever had eaten in my life. It is quite the fancy place you in a T-shirt and sweatpants won’t look great with the vibe. Staff are nice and friendly. Bonus points because my husband really liked the beer🍻.
We had no reservations, but it was for a Monday evening so we didn't have to wait for a table. Our server was fun and friendly. The food was amazing as were the drinks. They have a bar that is segregated from the dining area, but you can still hear people in that section. The decor is beautiful, and they have a huge wine selection. This is a great place for family functions or dates.

We reserved a table ahead of time on a Saturday evening so our party of nine was seated right away, which was great because the restaurant was soon packed. Service was friendly, efficient. Our table had a variety of entrees, with pasta dishes being a big hit for the most part. Eggplant Parmesan was a standout and the cappellini primavera was terrific whereas the chicken vesuvio was disappointing, very bland. Chocolate cake and carrot cake desserts were excellent. Overall it was a good experience.

Second time visiting this Italian restaurant in Barrington, Agio, and we loved it again. They offered us some really nice specials, and everything we ordered was amazing. Our server was very polite and friendly. Overall, a great experience—we’ll definitely be back.

Great food. Loved the texture of the pasta and how garlic was used. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Really nice ambiance with a beautiful wine cellar area. Our server Nikki was one of the most pleasant servers I’ve had in years. Would def come back.
