first time trying adjarian khachapuri, and i'd been saving it deliberately, waiting until i reached batumi to try it in its home region felt like the right move. this place came up as one of the most recommended so i went for it. nothing fancy, but the waiters are kind and despite the language barrier we managed to communicate just fine. the khachapuri arrived quickly, piping hot, comforting and delicious. i was slightly nervous because i'm not a big egg person, but once you mix everything together the egg blends right in and the whole thing becomes incredibly satisfying. glad i waited. amazing food at a very cheap price, highly recommend if you're in batumi and want a proper khachapuri.
Our friends recommended this place to try khachapuri so we were excited. However we had a terrible experience thanks to the waiting staff. We wanted to sit outside to enjoy the weather but the server offered no help in arranging a seating arrangement and took no responsibility for us as the business’s customers. Instead they only offered judgemental looks. Despite that we still ordered food and the service did not improve because our table wasn’t cleaned before eating and during food. The food was good tho!
If you want to experience authentic Georgian khachapuri, this is the place to go! It’s the only thing on the menu, and honestly, that’s all they need because they’ve perfected it. We were two people and ordered the large khachapuri to share, but we still couldn’t finish it—it was huge! It was freshly baked, incredibly cheesy, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was worth it, and it quickly became one of our favorite foods since arriving in Georgia. Simple, authentic, and unforgettable. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!
The Khachapuri was delicious , but the service needs improvement. Throughout the whole meal, we didn't saw a single smile from the staff, and we felt quite unwelcome. If the service matched the quality of the kitchen, this would be a fantastic spot.
I'm an American, so I guess I wouldn't be able to judge the quality of a Adjarian Katchapuri, but the one I had was damn tasty and a lot of locals were there. Follow me on Instagram, Wildalaskaken_official
