Piano Piano at Nomad Hotel is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Kathmandu. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegant and cozy, making it ideal for a date, a special occasion, or simply a relaxing evening with friends.
The food was excellent—fresh, authentic, and beautifully presented. Every dish was prepared with attention to detail, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. The drinks and wine selection complemented the menu well.
What impressed me the most was the hospitality. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. Their service made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine, a sophisticated atmosphere, and outstanding service in Lazimpat, Piano Piano is definitely worth visiting. I’ll certainly be coming back.
We stayed in a huge number of hotels during our trip, and I have something to compare them to. This hotel in Kathmandu is really good. I enjoyed my stay here. It's cozy, clean, modern, intimate, and calm. Even the breakfast matches their overall concept. Yes, it's not big, but it's fresh and good quality. Cheese, nuts, homemade jams, pancakes, detox water, juices, and more (mostly European). Yes, I agree that we were surprised by the bathroom, but overall, this didn't affect the overall experience. Also, the TV didn't work, and we really wanted to watch FIFA, so the staff kindly offered to move us to another room, but we were already quite tired, and this didn't affect the overall experience; it only showed the staff's willingness to help. Thank you.💚

Had a wonderful stay at Nomad Hotel Lazimpat. The hotel has a modern boutique vibe with beautiful interiors, clean and comfortable rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere despite being close to the busy city area.
The breakfast was good, and the in-house restaurant served excellent food and coffee. The location is perfect—close to Thamel and other attractions while still offering a quiet place to relax. Highly recommended for travelers looking for comfort, great hospitality, and value for money in Kathmandu. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Nomad Hotel for two nights and overall it was a very pleasant experience. During my stay, I tried two different room types — one night in their suite room and one night in their apartment.
The suite room was comfortable and decent, but I personally liked the apartment much more. It felt more thoughtfully designed and comfortable for relaxing. One detail I really appreciated was the separate couch area placed near the TV, with a slight partition that creates a small chill-out space. It’s a simple idea, but it makes the room feel more homely and perfect for unwinding after a long day.
Another highlight for me was the washroom. It was spacious, clean, and very well designed, which always makes a big difference during a hotel stay.
Overall, it was a very nice stay. If you plan to stay here, I would definitely recommend trying the apartment option for a more comfortable and relaxing experience.
