Came here to bring my mum for the first time to Stockton Heath as she had never been. We spent most of our day in Gin Alley — popped over here before we came home. Waited at the and at least 4 people who come the bar after me was served before me. When I said something the 2 young idiots behind the bar just started laughing. Serves me right for choosing to slum it. Won’t be returning — Mulberry across the road is better they actually service you in the order you come the bar. Plenty of staff and none of them rude

I waited outside of the pub for over 45 mins due to them shutting the doors for the England game due to apparently being overcrowded, the reason I’m annoyed is due to them lying as there are empty seats and my friends are also in there with a drink and a seat for me, I find it appalling that they are refusing someone entry who has a seat and has a drink, they are losing customers as the minutes go and even have underaged children drinking but due to them not checking ids they are allowing it to happen depending on whether it stays like this I don’t see many people going back. The managers attitudes are disgusting giving aggressive looks to anyone trying to get in.

Had my 65th birthday get together there last week on the Bowling green. Live music, Band then a Singer. Social distancing was no problem. Great to see friends and well looked after.

Lovely pub with great beer and excellent service from the staff. As a suggestion, it would be perfect if they served some peanuts or another snack with the drinks. Highly recommended!
