We have stayed at the end a few times over the years. The rooms are lovely. The spa is wonderful. The inn and grounds are always breathtaking. Today I called to possibly book a space for a luncheon. Tina, the event manager, spoke with me and while she could not accommodate our group for the day we needed, she was very helpful in helping us find an alternative. Even offering to call someone if we needed. So while we will not be able to use their services this trip, I highly recommend the Inn and staff and special thanks to Tina.
I absolutely loved this place! The Inn was so beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming. The room was lovely and well appointed. The bed was so comfortable. The staff were so nice and helpful. The on-site restaurant was excellent— I especially enjoyed having my dinner on the patio with a wonderful live concert! And the spa was heavenly. Nice quiet place for a retreat, but also right next to Berkeley Springs Park where there was plenty of activity to join during the day, including a farmers market, food truck festival, yoga in the park, and of course, the historic spring. This is my new favorite weekend getaway – I will definitely be back!
Excellent staff and very clean. Can not fault the staff, maintenance nor housekeeping. They are perfect! Nice split system AC in the rooms and comfy beds.
HOWEVER, I stayed here for 9 days - be aware that at least in the “historic” part of the hotel if you have noisy patrons above you, you will literally hear every word and foot step on creaky floor boards above. On one of the evenings at mid-night I was a woken by what I thought was a lady in stilettos about to come crashing through the ceiling. Thank god the performance didn’t last long…. If you stay on a high floor be thoughtful of the people below you in such an old building.
Had a wonderful girls weekend here. The decor in the Inn was beautiful. We stayed in the building in the back that was nice. The grounds were very nice. Our room was clean. There is a bar and restaurant on site. Also an event room that would be perfect for Weddings and parties. Shout out to the amazing staff.
The place is fine, convenient location with parking. The massage was ok, but the restaurant is not good. I booked for a special occasion and should have known the high reviews were false. The menu has an “eclectic” theme but the food is overcooked, dry and lacks flavor. It’s not cheap either. Do yourself a favor and get a hotdog at the cardinal bar, or go to the bourbon bar.
