We had an incredible experience hosting our private dinner at The Americano in Atlanta! From start to finish, Melissa did an outstanding job planning every detail and made the entire process seamless. She was professional, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our event special.
Our server, Augustus, provided exceptional service throughout the evening. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of.
The food was absolutely phenomenal—every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meal, and we received so many compliments on the overall experience.
If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional service, outstanding food, and an unforgettable dining experience, I highly recommend The Americano. Thank you to Melissa, Augustus, and the entire team for making our evening so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!
Our large group had a fantastic experience here on a Sunday night, starting with a seamless and easy reservation process. The restaurant’s aesthetic is perfect. It had beautiful lighting and a "fancy yet casual" vibe that makes you feel right at home in a high-end setting.
Though the menu isn't massive, everyone in our party found something they loved; the Frito Misto was incredibly crispy, and the kitchen was happy to provide a milder sauce upon request. Between the delicious grouper and the unexpected treat of two complimentary desserts, the service and food exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend! Our server Vasil was absolutely the reason we had the best time! Loved it.
My husband treated my college friend and me to a one-night stay at the InterContinental Buckhead, and it was such an incredible experience. From the early noon check-in to the gourmet chocolates waiting bedside, happy hour cocktails, and breakfast credit, every detail felt thoughtful and luxurious.
We loved being able to easily walk to dinner at Delbar and shop nearby. The staff’s attention to detail and top-notch customer service truly made the stay special. To top it all off, there was a Saturday morning Lululemon event with yoga, Pilates, and free goodie bags.
Highly recommend for a staycation or weekend getaway!
I stay at the Intercontinental every few months and have looked at The Americano as a “last resort” if I’m too tired to go far and am alone for dining. My last visit changed my mind and I may make this one of my favorite destinations when I’m at the hotel.
Augustus, my server, invited the sommelier (Katie) to help pair my dishes. I started with the scallops and she paired it with a crisp Greco di Tufo. Delicious.
I ordered the tagliatelle for my entree. It wasn’t what I was in the mood for, but they had me at miatake, but then they threw mint at me…and it was over. As a former vegetarian, I’m not a lamb kinda gal, but the griffin cheese with the crushed peas have made me a believer. Katie paired it with the Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio, from Mastroberardino.
And because I couldn’t decide on just one dessert I chose two. Both the mousse and the caramel. The caramel was very sweet, so if you want a sweet treat or something unique, go with the caramel. The mouse was traditional, but elevated. Had I understood that clearly in advance, I would have gone with just the mousse but loved the caramel pairing better.
Overall, 5 stars, 10/10, will be back again due to the service team’s recommendations and quality of what they delivered. I left drunk and happy, with the best breakfast I could have imagined. Will be back again.
My husband and I visited for our Anniversary weekend and also in town for work. The ambiance is beautiful. Our server was nice but not as engaging or attentive for 1st timers visiting. We received our appetizer and waited around 10mins or so for new silverware which we had to ask someone else to bring. The truffle mushrooms were delicious but a cold by the time we finally got silverware. Then we finally got our food the temperature was incorrect for my lamb chops. Way under cooked rare, bloody and not medium well as requested. My husband pork chops were undercooked when he asked for medium well. Food went back to the kitchen and come out correct the 2nd time a round. The food was very delicious and management was great. We got a free dessert due to the very long wait and inconvenience. Overall beautiful ambiance, great food and staff!
