I called ahead to see if they had any of the Korean rice milk drink called Magkeolli. They had it! The last bottle even. It was my first time trying it and it was delicious!
If they carry it we'll be back for more and do our wine and liquor shopping while we're there.
The staff was super sweet and encouraged me to let them know how my 1st Magkeolli experience went.
We went to pick-up an online order. We were going to spend a good amount of money outside of our online order. But, we felt inconvenienced by staff following us around. We did purchase other items. Just not what we would have, because of the uneasy feeling of being followed around. Prices are good, staff was strange but ok.
Hands down the best family run small business in the area. Super friendly and knowledgeable owners. Always go above and beyond to get hard to find bottles, even single bottle special orders. Their whiskey program is fair and rewards true patrons vs those out hunting all over the state to never come back and spend again. This store will always have my business.
So, distribution screwed up in the area and they were able to buy every batch of Stagg allocated to the area. What did they do? They decided to be nice and offer them to the public. All you have to do is purchase 10 of their stores picks that have been on the shelf for years. What a sweetheart deal. Oh yeah, he bragging about how he's ripping off the public, claiming capitalism. Way to justify ripping off the public. Definitely this store should be boycotted!
