What a hotel. Rooms, setting, design, food, drinks - all genuinely memorable and superb. Dinner in particular was magnificent. However, our highlight was the staff - fun, full of personality, nothing too much trouble, keen to chat and share stories but never intrusive (shout out to Bruce the barman and the lovely lady at reception who came from Le Manoir). This hotel has that rare ability to make you feel that it's open just for you. Would return in a flash. Thank you!

Spending time with Tony and Donna, and being so graciously welcomed by them, was something we deeply value and will always remember. It is rare to see such genuine hospitality at this level, and it speaks volumes about the heart behind Palé Hall.
A special mention as well to Chef Luke and the entire team — the dining experience was outstanding, with every detail reflecting passion, creativity, and precision.
Over the three days, it never felt like we were just guests — it felt personal, warm, and incredibly special. That is something very few places in the world manage to achieve.

I am reluctant to share my thoughts on our stay at Pale Hall because other people may start going there, and we want to keep this secret for ourselves!
Pale Hall is not just an hotel it is an experience. We were warmly welcomed after our drive through the stunning Welsh countryside, and we stepped into an impeccable world of authentic and detailed country house splendour.
And ‘impeccable’ is the correct word to use. Pale Hall is perfectly clean, perfectly restored, and perfectly staffed. Alex and the others took great care of us.

Enjoyed an amazing meal at Palé Hall; probably one of the best meals my husband and I have ever had.
Booked a meal at Palé Hall for a birthday treat, and enjoyed the taster menu in their Michelin star/Rosette rated restaurant. Every course was a joy for the palette, every bite savoured.
The staff were incredibly friendly and knew their roles explicably. Our Sommelier, Alex, provided us with a fantastic wine pairing, plus provided us with additional suggestions for additional courses. The ‘classic’ wine pairing is fantastic value for money to go with the meal, when considering cocktails can be +£20 each.
Our hostess Paulina(?) was amazing as well, incredibly friendly and lovely to chat to. They also did a lovely birthday touch on one of our desserts.
We both said it was a shame we attended in the evening sitting as it would have been lovely to view the grounds, but from the dining experience, whilst it is expensive, is a one off and something we would recommend people to visit.
Pale Hall could be amazing - but falls just short. The service is wonderful as is the food. The rooms ( especially carpet) could do with a refresh - and there is not enough storage for clothes.
The bathroom too looks a bit dated
