What can we say? WOW! Palé Hall is a wonderful example of what’s possible when a young, experienced and genuinely talented team focuses on delivering a uniquely Welsh luxury experience. We visited as a group of five — including Harvey the Labrador — and from the moment we arrived, it felt special. On our first day alone, we explored the grounds, walked the nature and sculpture trail, met the beautiful Valais sheep and took in the incredible wildlife. We then went clay pigeon shooting with Shawn before finishing the evening with perfect cocktails from Bruce and Chef Luke’s fantastic tasting menu. What really sets Palé Hall apart from other luxury country estate hotels is how authentic and relaxed it feels. There’s no stiffness or pretence — just exceptional hospitality in a truly magical setting. A special mention has to go to Theo on the front desk, who was seriously impressive. You want for nothing; somehow, even the things you haven’t thought to ask for are taken care of before you realise you need them. More than anything, Palé Hall created those rare little moments and memories that we’ll all hold dear for a very long time. Magical. We will absolutely be back.

What a hotel. Rooms, setting, design, food, drinks - all genuinely memorable and superb. Dinner in particular was magnificent. However, our highlight was the staff - fun, full of personality, nothing too much trouble, keen to chat and share stories but never intrusive (shout out to Bruce the barman and the lovely lady at reception who came from Le Manoir). This hotel has that rare ability to make you feel that it's open just for you. Would return in a flash. Thank you!

We were travelling through on the way to a National Trust site and saw signs for this, so the journey didn't start out with the intention to come here. We drive down through the gardens, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. On arrival at the building, the facade is phenomenal, utterly breathtaking. Park up, run in, ask if they allow dogs. They do. Great start. As we sit in the bar area, there's plenty of things to keep your attention. Lots of stuffed animals, bar beautifully decorated, very ornate, completely blew any expectations that we had. The staff were very accommodating and very friendly. We had a good time. And we ordered a free course meal for £38 in a venue of this calibre, incredibly good value. During the course of the meal, it actually turns into a five-course meal, bit like a tasting menu. For the price, again, I was astounded at how good quality it was. During the meal, I got up to go to the toilet, and again, blown through the expectations of what a toilet would be, there were perfume, towels, sweets, mints all readily available for guests. Truly in awe of this place and what it offers for the price that it charges. Could not recommend this enough, and on our way to North Wales, almost certainly this is going to become a regular spot for us. Really, really, really good experience.

My friends and I went to the hall and a lovely gentleman Theo went so far above and beyond in the quality of service that we are in no doubt that his part in the top rating of our visit was the gamechanger. Once in a while someone shows such respect, care in their time and efforts towards making one's experience outstanding - and Theo did this. Theo more than deserves a recommendation and the Hall was the perfect setting for our special occasion. Thank you.

Dear Palé Hall Team, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for the truly exceptional experience we had during our recent stay. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtfully curated — from the elegance of the house and grounds to the warmth and attentiveness of your team. However, what made this stay truly unforgettable was the personal connection we were fortunate to experience. Spending time with Tony and Donna, and being so graciously welcomed by them, was something we deeply value and will always remember. It is rare to see such genuine hospitality at this level, and it speaks volumes about the heart behind Palé Hall. A special mention as well to Chef Luke and the entire team — the dining experience was outstanding, with every detail reflecting passion, creativity, and precision. Over the three days, it never felt like we were just guests — it felt personal, warm, and incredibly special. That is something very few places in the world manage to achieve.
