PAI Toronto

The food was delicious!!!! After lining up, the wait for our meal wasn't too long. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. One thing to note is that the server didn't always keep an eye on our table, so if you need a refill or anything else, you'll likely have to flag them down. Overall, though, the food and ambiance made for an enjoyable experience.

Arrived during busy lunch hour on Wednesday afternoon. The staff were very attentive. Got a table for two within 10 minutes of waiting. The food was very delicious! Fresh and full of flavours. I would highly recommend this location. The menu items are very satisfying. I recommend trying these dishes I ordered. 1. Spring rolls 2. Pad Thai 3. Pad Sew Ew 4. Thai fried rice I would’ve ordered the famous Coconut ice cream however I was full. Always a next time. Thank you chefs.

Loved the vibe and loved the food! We came by on a Saturday night around 5:30PM and only waited 10 min for a table. The main dining area is very cramped and loud, but luckily we were seated in the "market" area which was nicer and calmer. The "same same" area looked inviting too. Our server EJ was amazing from beginning to end. He was super attentive, kind and had a great sense of humour. The cocktails were delicious!! We ordered the bengal leaf wrap appetizer which was presented beautifully and super fresh. We also shared the pad see ew and oxtail in tomato broth with rice. Everything was incredible. Food came quickly even though the restaurant was busy. We were celebrating a belated birthday and EJ brought a complimentary mango ice cream! It was a great dining experience!

I visited PAI for the first time recently and loved it so much that I came back again just a few days later. Both experiences were absolutely phenomenal. The service is exceptional, the food transported me right back to the streets of Thailand, and the hospitality is truly on another level. During our visit, the owner came over to our table to introduce himself, which was such a thoughtful touch. He also surprised us with a few complimentary dishes that were so tasty and made an already amazing experience even more memorable. I had a friend visiting from out of town who was in Toronto filming a movie, and she enjoyed it so much that we ended up getting our whole group together to come back for another meal. I genuinely can't speak highly enough of this place. If you love Thailand and Thai food as much as I do, do yourself a favour and visit PAI. It's one of the best Thai restaurant experiences I've had outside of Thailand. The food, the people, and the overall experience are second to none. I'll definitely be back many more times!

We went it at about 4.30 ish and it was about a 45 minute wait with no reservation. We ordered all vegan 🌱 Mango salad. Omg what a flavour bomb. I loved this. Wish it has more peanuts and some fresh chilli. Loved that this has raw mango and mango fruit. The depth of flavour was good. Tom yum soup was excellent. The broth was so so so flavourful! You could taste the kaffir lime and lemon grass. This was amazing. Non alcoholic sangria was also very very good. Not too sweet. Pad Thai this was almost perfect. I saw this was our fault mostly cos we ordered the mains after we ordered and eaten the starters. We completely forgot to tell them to make it less sweet more savoury. Having said that I’m happy we got to try it the way chef makes it. We did ask for chilli oil on the side and this helped. But it was really very good pad thai. If you are vegan you will understand when I saw it’s very hard to find good vegan pad Thai that is not just sweet. Green Curry this was so flavourful! Only one thing I would say it was a lot like a lot of tofu and not enough gravy. Mango sticky rice very good. Perfect. Ambiance is very nice and decor too very nice. It’s a busy restaurant so it will be noisy. Tips: ask for extra peanuts for the mango salad and the pad thai. The crunchy peanuts definitely elevates the dish. Also if you can handle spicy make sure to ask for chilli in the mango salad. This will make it more balanced. Pro tip go in a group of 3-4 so you can order multiple things and share. Because you are going to want to try a lot of the food. Family style eating will be best this way you can try multiple items.
