We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Noted. The beef tartare and lamb kebab were outstanding. The tartare had a perfect balance of flavours and textures, while the lamb was incredibly moreish. The chicken main was packed with flavour, although it was perhaps slightly on the salty side. The wings were genuinely the best we've ever had.
The pork with potatoes was wonderfully fresh and made for a perfect summer evening dish. The wine selection was superb, and our glasses were kept topped up throughout the meal.
The desserts were equally impressive. The trifle was fresh, light, and beautifully balanced, while the white chocolate and strawberry dessert was bursting with flavour.
The service was fantastic from start to finish. We loved the crisps on arrival and appreciated the thoughtful explanations of each dish. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and gave us some excellent recommendations for after-dinner drinks nearby.
For just £45 for three courses the quality of the food, wine, service, and overall experience represented exceptional value. I would highly recommend Noted to anyone visiting or living in and around Chester.
We had an exceptional meal at Noted and honestly left feeling like we’d discovered somewhere very special before it truly explodes in popularity.
What makes it even more impressive is that the two chefs behind it are only 19 and 20 years old, yet the restaurant is already featured in the Michelin Guide. After eating here, it’s very easy to understand why.
Every dish felt thoughtful, confident and beautifully balanced. The food had that rare combination of technical skill and personality — refined without feeling pretentious. The presentation was stunning throughout, but more importantly, every plate genuinely delivered on flavour.
The standout dishes for us were the cod and the white chocolate dessert. The cod was exceptional — delicate, perfectly cooked and full of depth and balance. The white chocolate dessert was one of the best desserts we’ve had in a long time; beautifully judged sweetness with incredible texture and freshness.
The beef tartare, lamb kebab and salsa verde doughnuts were also fantastic and showed real creativity.
You can feel the passion and ambition in this place already. It honestly feels like the beginning of something very exciting for Chester’s food scene.
A restaurant we’ll remember for a long time and somewhere we’ll absolutely return to.
We went on the Sunday for the family feast and I have to say, its the best roast dinner in Chester!
3 courses for £40. Every course was exceptional. so much flavour in every part of it and really generous with the meat. We will definitely be back!
We visited Noted with a virgin experience days voucher - this was our third time visiting one of Andrew Sheridan's restaurant, but our first time NOT having a tasting menu. We love the tasting menu's, but it was nice to choose three courses and have bigger portions of each meal.
I was as impressed as always. The food is delicious and leaves my taste buds tingling with content. All three courses (crab to start, cod for main, white chocolate and rhubarb for dessert) were presented incredibly, with a taste i cannot put into words!
Our voucher included a carafe of wine too, which was lovely to enjoy with the meal.
The crisps and dips to start were a fantastic touch too.
We really enjoyed our visit here. A lovely, calm ambience to accompany the most amazing food.
Food can be described very easily here... delicious.
I had prawns to start with chilli and curry, just the right amount of heat.
I had the noted truffle bruger as a main, this was easily the highlight of the show. Taste was unreal, every mouthful was an explosion of perfectly cooked food and combined flavours.
To end i had the chocolate mousse with orange. I had amazingly high hopes for the final course but i think because i had been so spoilt by the first two courses it just wasnt up to thr level of them. It wasnt horrible and i finished it all.
I would easily recomend this place to anyone.
