This spot is absolutely amazing—delicious, authentic Chinese-American food that feels deeply rooted in both traditions. They use traditional Chinese cooking methods but masterfully combine them with American flavors. It is a true masterpiece of culinary fusion where you get the soul of authentic Chinese flavors tailored to the American palate.
The Food:
Everything is top-tier, but I highly recommend:
• Hot and Sour Soup: Perfectly balanced and comforting.
• Fried Chicken Sandwich on a Pineapple Bun: An incredible sweet-and-savory combo you won't find anywhere else.
• Mapo Tofu (Single Rice Dish): The flavor is deep and authentic.
The Experience:
• Speed & Quality: The service is extremely fast, yet you can tell every dish is freshly stir-fried to order. Nothing sits around; the flavors are vibrant and fresh.
• Flexibility: I love that you can order individual portions for a quick meal or go family-style for a big group.
• Atmosphere: The service is amazing—very warm, family-oriented, and definitely kid-friendly.
If you're looking for a fresh, high-quality meal that bridges two cultures perfectly, this is the place. Highly recommend!
This was my first time here. I was meeting a friend here. Service was good, indoor dining, & ambiance was good. We went on a Wed evening around 7p and there was seating. My friend got the cashew chicken and she said it was really good. We shared the fries. They were good. Typical fries.
I ordered the eggplant & tofu rice dish. The bowl that my entree came in reminded me of a kids bowl, not the size, but it was the pink plastic kind. Despite the aesthetic of the bowl, I really liked my dish! It was very tasty and the eggplant wasn’t too oily or mushy. It was so good!! I definitely would come back and order this dish again!
we fell for the nice decor and atmosphere except the fabric on the booth seatings are a little dirty. the food was mid, pretty overpriced. also thought the mapo tofu was the must try until it all tastes like vinegar. just go support a local traditional chinese restaurant this is indeed mamahuhu (so-so)
This place is great. They have excellently updated classic Chinese-American dishes. I love their hot and sour soup, and I really like the MSG Chicken, the Tingly Spicy Chicken sandwich, and the Tomato Garlic Chow Mein. Give this place a shot!
I have to admit I have been here a bunch of times and the only thing I have eaten is the vegetarian mapo tofu because I like it so much. There are other veggie options but I'm really here for that dish. I love the Sichuan spice and the mushrooms. If you get the meal with rice it also comes with a little vegetables side dish.
The staff have always been friendly. The atmosphere is pretty fast casual, it's a little nicer than chipotle but not like "dining". Food always comes out fast. I will be eating mapo tofu again here soon!
