I live in the neighborhood and am rooting for this business.
Today I popped in for a smoothie.
At $24 it’s expensive, but I understand that’s the reality of things these days. I skipped the $6 protein add-on because I’m not quite ready for a $30 smoothie.
When my drink came, the server let me know you were out of straws. Cool. No worries.
Unfortunately, the smoothie itself was genuinely the worst I’ve ever had. It was overwhelmingly sweet and flat, like Smuckers Strawberry Jam with a lingering aftertaste of rotten avocado.
After a few attempts, I ended up walking out and throwing the smoothie into the trash.
I didn’t want to say anything in the store because your staff are consistently great, and this feedback isn’t about them.
It is clear that your smoothie program is an afterthought. The smoothies at this location when it was Postscript were noticeably fresher and better executed.
Please consider reworking the smoothie program. You have very little competition in the neighborhood, and a fresh, well-balanced smoothie offering would be welcomed.
The bagels are pretty good!
Loveski is a great spot to relax or get some work done in San Francisco. The Pink Guava Coconut Matcha is refreshing, smooth, and full of tropical flavor, making it a unique treat that's well worth trying. The comfortable seating and welcoming atmosphere create an excellent workspace, whether you're catching up on emails, studying, or simply enjoying a peaceful break with a delicious drink.
Loving Loveski S.F.! Checked it out today and had an exceptionally tasty pastrami / tribute (to the peerless Langers in L.A.) with Dr. Brown of course. Everything looks amazing here including bagels and breakfast burrito with pastrami and latke (!?!?). Sign me up, I will be back — and they have a great setup for dine-in or on sidewalk/people watching in the burgeoning Jackson Square area.
I stopped by quickly for a yeast bagel with a light schmear of plain cream cheese. It was amazing! I also got a sample of their chocolate-chip cookie (which was massive!). The bagel was heavenly, and the service was amazing!
The only thing I didn’t love was the tip defaults to 18% on the machine - if you don’t catch it, that seems a bit much on an already high priced bagel.
The Famous Yeast bagels with nutritional yeast are incredible! 🥯 The vegan cream cheese is yummy and so is the fresh green juice, but the prices are very high. 💰 I also wish there were more vegan options overall. 🌱 Nice vibes and friendly service.
