I’ve eaten here four times now, and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. The grilled chicken was surprisingly mushy and I couldn’t really finish it. I had ordered the same dish on a previous visit and enjoyed it so much that I made a point of ordering it again when I came back, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations this time.
The other dishes were still quite good and easy to enjoy, and the prices remain reasonable. Hopefully this was just an off day, as I’ve had much better experiences here before.
The food tastes okay, but the portions are incredibly small. To make matters worse, the service is terrible—all the waiters and waitresses are unfriendly and completely non-responsive. Definitely not worth it.
Fantastic Local Thai Food at Great Prices!
Had a wonderful dining experience at Laab Ubon Kontrakran. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic Thai flavors, and every dish was freshly prepared and packed with taste. The menu offers great variety, and everything we ordered was flavorful and well presented.
What impressed me the most was the value for money. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions and quality of the food. It’s a great place to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine without spending a fortune.
The atmosphere is casual, lively, and welcoming, giving a true local dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the visit even more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for tasty food, authentic flavors, and amazing prices, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I will happily come back again whenever I’m in the area. 🇹🇭🍽️
The best tom yum kung I've ever eaten, grilled pork belly, papaya salad with three aspects. Everything was great, plus a bottle of Thai beer almost ended a quite busy day. Local food stalls open until 4:00 am. I will come back, I crave tom yum kung soup
Good place to have some tasty food after midnight.
The staff are so cute and they are Manutd fan also.
- Mango sticky rice is recommended, better than ones in shopping mall -10/10
- Pork neck goes well with beer.
