Lovely stop in the afternoon for a wine, cheese and meat board. Loved the bread (little panini pockets). Service top notch, food and presentation excellent… even packaged up what we couldn’t eat and recommended a picnic hike to enjoy it on the next day. Don’t skip if you’re looking for a fab wind down after sightseeing.
We had lunch at this place and we sat outside in the alley. Many of the small shops here offer the same concept and it seems like they specialize in cold cuts and cheese. At La Baita there was quite a few options to choose from but we chose a standard one to taste some of the local delicacies such as mortadella, parma ham, salame rosa, pickled onions, squacquerone (a local soft cheese) etc. The table was just big enough to hold the platter and the atmosphere is great as you sit right next to people and people are also walking up and down in the alley. If you want to have a taste of some of the great local products, stop by this place for lunch and enjoy a platter!
An amazing find! The platters are incredibly fresh and delicious, but what truly sets this place apart is the hospitality. The staff, especially the owner, is extremely friendly and takes the time to explain every ingredient. It feels like a truly authentic experience. A perfect spot for anyone looking for great food and a warm atmosphere!
The restaurant looks very inviting. The waitress was friendly and brought us to another indoor table upstairs but no one came to take order till we were about to leave.
We ordered the pasta n cold cuts. Food was quite good. Service could be better.
Amazing food hall. So many options to check. You can eat and take your drink and of course you can buy your delicates. Prices are normal and according to the quality. Service is great too.
