I have been coming to this place for over 10 years and have always been a loyal fan. However, I was quite disappointed with the meat quality during my recent visit. While the meat in the combo was okay, the Beef Tongue we ordered separately was unfortunately very tough and chewy. Considering the price, it definitely didn't feel worth the extra cost this time.
On the bright side, the service remains fast and attentive. Also, the corn cheese and steamed eggs served on the side never fail to make my kids happy. I truly hope the meat quality returns to the high standard it used to have so we can continue to enjoy our family dinners here.
The quality of food is excellent, it's definitely a better KBBQ experience compared to some of the other AYCE chains. We made our reservations via Resy which is convenient. We arrived early and were seated right away. Several reasons why we enjoyed this restaurant, less smokes and loud music, and the staff cooks the meats for you hence there's less stress of over our under cooking. We ordered the Beef Combo, we asked the waiter to slow down the cooking because we couldn't keep up with his pace. Another reason we like Baekjong is the corn and eggs cooked directly on the griddle in front of us. The banchan small dishes are also very good, and they will be replenished if you ask for more. The staff is doing a great job cooking, but we get the feeling he probably didn't want to be there. We didn't get 1 smile from any of the staff, which is fine with us.
Tasty bbq and they take all the work of cooking for u! Banchan was a bit weaker here, their soybean soup was better than most tho flavor wise and had some meat inside. The hodong platter was good except the marinated pork at the end it was just a bit too lean and it didn’t have any particular flavor to it

This place had wonderful costumer service, their servers were extremely kind. And me and bf came in and it was our second time coming to a bbq, so I was hoping we’d get an outcome. Right off the bat, they had wonderful side options like the Horse raddish, salads, soy sauce etc. beautifully placed.
Since it was our second time, servers did not even ask, they helped place the meat on the stove for us! We ate and they helped us with the meat. They never seemed to falter or be irritated by our presence to lack of practice. Now that we know how to place meat, we’ll come back more experienced. Thank You!

Tasty, authentically Korean, grill-at-table bbq.
Pork belly (삼겹살) and pork jowl (항정살) are true winners. Accompanying wasabi dipping sauce, spicy miso, scallion salad, dumpling wrappers and pink turnip kimchi make for excellent accompaniments. Complimentary egg soufflé and corn-cheese, a nice added touch of hospitality.
