Excellent staff!
I’m often told that chain restaurants and coffee shops are all the same. Yes, and no. Yes, in that the menu, no matter where in the world you find yourself, is the same. For those of us that are always on the road, that can be very comforting. Chain restaurants, and cafés for the most part have guidelines on food preparation. Trust me, in some countries that matters a great deal. The no to my answer is because it’s always about the staff. I’m sure you understand what I’m getting at.
This morning, I was pleasantly surprised at Starbucks. The entire staff behind the counter was visibly busy. Big surprise for a Starbucks, right? But several of the members took the time to not only greet customers as they came in, but also kept checking and on those that were seated. While I sat enjoying my coffee a young teenager stepped up to the register to order. I put him at about 12. This may or may not have been his first time ordering coffee. As I looked on, he seemed a little apprehensive. The staff member behind the counter, helped him with lead questions about his order, and did it with a smile. He definitely made the young person feel comfortable. I don’t know, I thought it was kind of cool. Try walking up to a counter, not knowing what kind of coffee you wanna order in New York City!
Despite a busy café, the restaurant was very clean.

The Starbucks at Stage and Kirby is hands-down one of the best locations I’ve been to. The café is spotlessly clean every time I walk in, and you can tell the team really takes pride in keeping the space welcoming and comfortable. Customer service is completely on point—friendly, fast, and genuinely caring, not rushed or robotic.
I also had the pleasure of meeting the new manager, Jenn, and she is absolutely wonderful. Super nice, approachable, and clearly invested in both her team and the customers. You can feel the positive energy she brings, and it really shows in how smoothly everything runs.
This location sets the bar high for what a Starbucks experience should be. Keep up the amazing work! ☕✨

Best Starbucks in the area!
From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, welcoming, and buzzing in the best way. The baristas are genuinely some of the friendliest people ever—smiling, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. My drink was perfectly made (seriously, chef’s kiss), and even during a busy rush they moved fast without sacrificing quality.
The store itself is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully laid out—great for a quick grab-and-go or settling in with a laptop and a latte. You can tell this team really cares, and it shows in every detail, from remembering regulars’ names to nailing custom orders.
Easily one of the best Starbucks experiences I’ve had. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in—you’ll leave caffeinated and in a better mood.

I ordered a blended pink drink today 7/30/26 and there was this sharp piece of plastic in it. The blueberry muffins were good.
