We spent two nights at this beautiful hotel. Overall it was a good experience. The location is only a short drive away from a few hikes, which is very convenient and the hotel is beautiful and has a nice pool. The staff is mostly friendly, especially the younger employees and the receptionists. However, I was a bit disappointed in the condition of our room. There were a few things, like broken wood in the closet, that I would not expect at this price point. Also the dinner was rather disappointing and in my opinion does not offer a good value for money.
This is a lovely hotel set in a countryside. The room that we stayed in was clean and spacious with a great view. The surroundings were peaceful and at night with little light pollution, the hotel was a great spot for star gazing. Food at the restaurant was delicious and the wines in the Recommended section were fantastic. Of course, the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights and wished it could have been more.

A majestic hotel. Easy drive to many great hikes and a perfect place to return for relaxation at the end of the day for a glass of wine by the fire. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant was amazing.

We loved our stay at this hotel. After 7 days hiking in Valle La Tena we wanted to relax in comfort and it was the perfect place. Gorgeous room with a view, beautiful garden and pool and good food at the restaurant. Very friendly

If you book through a service such as Booking.com and you have a negative experience at their hotel, they will mark your reservation as canceled so you can not write a review on the website! They do not have air conditioning. It's a poorly working fan that they claim will get the room temperature to 9 degrees, even though we were both sweating in the room the entire night. The motion sensor light in the bathroom is abhorrent. Also, if you are a motorcycle rider, you will be stuck at the gate on a downward slope trying to leave the property because the gate will not open for you.
