The service was exceptional there was this girl with blonde and brown long hair that served us and she was exceptional she always had a smile on her face and was very patient. The food not to mention was excellent and exquisite, I had the pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce and the pasta and tomato sauce tasted amazing and tasted homemade. The meatballs would break apart and melt in your mouth and the portion was massive and super affordable. My mother ordered the chicken with capers pasta and the chicken was seasoned to perfection and was quite crispy while the pasta which was rigatoni was boiled perfectly and the sauce looked basic but tasted delicious!!!! The atmosphere was perfect and not overstimulating!!! 10/10 would highly recommend!!!!!
After seeing all the heavy TikTok and influencer hype calling Guido an American-Italian spot, my girlfriend and I booked a table for two. We ordered the Caesar salad, Chicken Parm, and pasta with meatballs.
The Caesar salad was actually really good. Fresh, crisp, and well-dressed. It's a simple thing that's hard to screw up and they nailed it.
The rest was disappointing though.
The Chicken Parm had super dry chicken that tasted industrial, like a pre-breaded schnitzel from the supermarket across the street. The cheese on top wasn't proper melty mozzarella. It looked like they just slapped a slice on and hit it with a torch.
The meatballs were the worst part. They were this weird clay color, fell apart easy, and had that processed taste you get from frozen ones or army MREs. Not fresh at all.
Overall, it felt like fast food quality but with restaurant prices. I told the waiter I was disappointed but didn't ask for money back or anything. With all that marketing it was a letdown. If you want real good Italian or American-Italian food, skip this place
Great American -italian food, a fair warning to thos ewho see the Mac and cheese Bolognese as an easy option - very tasty but be warned you won't be able to finish it as it's extremely rich. Service was good, house wine is decent and reasonably priced.
Myself and a work colleague were in TLV for a business trip. Decided to swing by based upon Google recommendations. It's about a half block of Dizengoff street. When got there during happy hour, but we're sat quickly. We ordered drinks and apps, and finally a meal.
Everything was great, we've been telling all our other colleagues about it all week.
Overall well worth the visit.
Feels like an American and Italian restaurant, like Italian food it's very very tasty, like American food the dishes are big. Prices are fair and service is great, the atmosphere is really nice. Highly recommended!
