Visiting Moët & Chandon is always one of the highlights of our time in Champagne.
Not my first.
The experience starts long before the tasting, with beautiful courtyards, elegant lounges, and a warm welcome that immediately sets the atmosphere and the finesse.
Walking through the historic chalk cellars was fascinating. The endless galleries, millions of bottles resting underground, historic presses, sculptures, and works of art tell the story of a house that has been perfecting Champagne since 1743. It feels literally like stepping into history.
The tasting itself was relaxed, informative, and beautifully presented. Our guide explained the wines with passion, making the visit enjoyable whether you’re a Champagne enthusiast or simply curious to learn more.
We left with a much deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind every bottle. If you’re visiting Épernay, don’t miss this experience. It combines history, architecture, art, and outstanding Champagne in a way that is difficult to forget.
