Such a fun bar!! Top notch service from friendly and enthusiastic staff. Cocktails were creative and delicious and the food was amazing (honestly, I can’t stop thinking about those chewy fries!!) Will definitely be back
What a marvelous addition to Providence! We had the BEST time. Chris greeted us at the front with warmth and welcome, our server, Mackenzie, was so fun, knowledgeable and patient, and tipplegenius™️ Jesse spent so much time explaining his menu and also the crazy science equipment he uses to achieve Frills' magic deliciousness. We started with the Deviled Egg Jello Shots. Ended the night w Nikhil's amazing Strawberry dessert. Didn't win at the Claw, but will be back!! Can't wait to try everything on the menu.
The lackluster greeting I received from the hostess/waitress could have been remedied had I gotten a warmer greeting from the bartender who came from behind the bar shortly after but that failed me as well.
Given that I had been there a handful of times and had brief but pleasant conversations with him, the grossly unenthusiastic, passive-aggressive approach today was disappointing. Since my go-to drink has been removed from the menu since having last had it in late APRIL/early MAY, there is now little reason to return.
I truly wish hospitality workers would remind themselves before every shift that their personality pays their bills.
Been here several times, always really enjoy it. The cocktail menu stays fresh with creative and delicious options and I would describe the food as "top notch bar food"—it's all really quality stuff. The playlist is always eclectic and fun and the vibes are like no other place I've found in Providence. The staff are attentive without being pushy. Club Frills is the perfect place to sample Providence's high-quality food and cocktail scene if you're looking for a casual, colorful, and calm atmosphere.
