I can’t fathom why it’s only 2.6 stars. Chitpole food is about as healthy as it gets for fast food; real ingredients people can see. Looks like they actually might pay their staff unlike McDonald’s. Location dining room is clean. I came on a Friday for lunch at 11:30 not overly busy. The staff was really friendly with me. Would definitely come again.
I had a good experience at Chipotle overall. The food looked fresh, tasted great, and the portions were satisfying. The staff was also friendly. I’m giving 4 stars because the dining tables were not very clean when I visited, which made the dine-in experience a little less comfortable. Other than that, everything else was really good.
I understand not caring about a fast food job and workers are generally under appreciated and under compensated, but it is actually ridiculous and a health hazard to leave whatever this plastic (lid?) is in a burrito. My partner and I moved close to this location a few months ago and the quality of this location hasn’t exactly been good even outside of this incident.
This Chipotle location has got to be the worst in the state of Vermont. I have visited on two separate occasions, 3 weeks apart and they have been out of rice. It’s understandable for a food establishment that prepares its food fresh, to have periods in the day when there are delays. The issue with this specific location is the staff and how they handle delays and inconveniences. The staff tend to be younger, college student who couldn’t care less about customers. Their disengaged demeanor and lack of kindness towards customers, who come into the establishment and end up having to compromise on their orders due to things like rice being unavailable is absolutely off-putting. There is a separate section that caters to online orders, which always appears well stocked and contains food items that are “out of stock.” In other words, customers that order online are prioritized over those that take their time to drive to the store and order online person. Once again, this speaks to the terrible customer service at this store. Chipotle please do better either hiring better staff or staff that actually value customers and make an effort be professional, respectful and kind. Perhaps, the staff could take a note from your competitors at Dave’s hot chicken across the street. Their staff are young, but approachable and go above and beyond to cater to customers.
i visited at about 9:30pm and waited in line that had 5 or 6 guests waiting for almost 10 minutes with only one person working the counter. two other employees were on their cell phones in the dining area laughing and apparently taking a break. the other two employees working behind the counter chose to work on other tasks and not to assist the one person working at the front.
dining area was absolutely disgusting with trash and food scraps all over the tables and floor. i have visited this location several times and this has been an issue each time. the employees are no doubt aware of the unsanitary nature of their dining area, but repeatedly choose not to address it. disgusting. there are countless health code violations that lay in plain sight on repeated visits here, and it’s a miracle for the managers of this filth that the health department has not caught on yet.
while waiting in line, i redeemed points in the app to get free chips and guacamole. upon finally reaching the front of the line, i was told by the man working that they are out of chips. how do you run out of chips at chipotle?
when i asked if i could get my points back, he apologized and told me i have to call “1-800 Chipotle” and offered no further help. the employee that said this made this up; i could not find this phone number online, and i see other reviewers have also had the same issue at this location.
overall a very disappointing and unsanitary experience where i got robbed of my hard earned points. unless you are looking for long lines despite ample staffing and don’t mind a nasty dining area, i would avoid this location and visit any of the other restaurants in the area, many of which are local.
