The food? Amazing, as always. A 45 minute drive that ends with the amazing oysters, muscles and clam strips. The food is always top, and they have a decade’s worth of awards from The News Harold agreeing with what every customer experiences: amazing seafood, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere. My wife and I stopped in for our anniversary as all I asked for was “Oysters from Brennan’s”. As always we orders too much, but the salad packed nicely for the ride home lol
Thank you again for an amazing meal. Always my favorite restaurant.

Myself and my girlfriend dined here this evening. We sat outside as the weather was great for it. The service was a tad on the slow side at times, but our server was very friendly and seemed busy but overall attentive. We ordered Delmonico steaks, I had mine with crab legs. Our steaks were absolutely phenomenal, honestly one of the best I’ve had dining out. The crab legs were delicious.The meat was Rich, sweet, perfectly cooked, and easy to deshell. The sides were on par average, nothing over the top, but the portion size was great! The bread served before the meal was excellent, and paired well with the clam chowder! We will definitely return for a steak diner in the future, and appreciate the kindness and hospitality of the owner, and staff who frequently expressed there gratitude for our patronage.
Went for dinner with my Mom while on a visit to Ohio. Her good friends opened this restaurant in 1966 and owned it until 2006. They were the best man and maid of honor at my parents wedding. So, with that said, I've eaten here alot.
The waitress greeted our table while she was on the phone with her doctor trying to get her arthritis medication. I only know because she felt the need to tell us. Why she couldn't make her call later or, at least, finish her call before she came to the table is beyond me. Not a good start. She continued to be on the phone for another stop or 2 at our table.
Rude and unprofessional.
We got frog legs as an appetizer and they were the best thing we had while we were there. They were cooked perfectly and very juicy.
I got buffalo shrimp and Mom got the Fisherman's Platter with fried perch, scallops, shrimp, white fish and an overcooked crab cake. It tasted OK but it didn't look appetizing at all. The tartar sauce, if you want to call it that, was the absolute worst we've ever had....ever. The coleslaw was awful. The fries are house made and are very good. Their fries haven't changed in forever. Great with malt vinegar.
Then our waitress tried to overcompensate and that was just a hot mess.
We won't be going back.

Been coming here since I was a kid in the 1970s and it never disappoints. Same nautical atmosphere, amazing fries, and tasty perch & walleye. Lightly breaded fish, fried to perfection. They also have great coleslaw. My wife got the baked haddock, which was also quite good. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely come again when I return to town to visit family.
