Really enjoyed my experience at Azul Condesa. The vibes were amazing and the service was genuinely great throughout the meal. The servers were super sweet, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed. The presentation of the food was also incredible, every dish looked beautifully plated and very thoughtfully prepared.
That said, while everything looked stunning, the flavors just didn’t fully land for us personally. Nothing was bad by any means, it just wasn’t really suited to our tastes and felt like it lacked a bit of flavor overall. Still, the atmosphere and hospitality alone made it a memorable spot worth visiting.
I’ll put this into my top 50 dining experiences ever. Their mole duck is SO good. I love the way they have a mezcal menu with maps and ratings so you can get a bit of knowledge about mezcal. Their food is just all to die for. Every dish we got was perfection. Our waiter really gave us some good suggestions and made our dining experience all
The better. It gets packed quick. We were lucky we got there just before it opened as we didn’t have reservations. Don’t miss this place.

Azul is the kind of place that reminds you how magical a great breakfast can be. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the comforting aroma of a comal on the right-hand side, where fresh tortillas are being made by hand. I was so enthusiastic watching the process that they kindly offered me two to taste — a simple gesture that perfectly reflected the warmth of the entire experience.
The setting is absolutely beautiful. Soft candlelight, thoughtfully set tables, stunningly plated dishes, and a lush wall of plants create a space that feels both elegant and inviting without ever being pretentious. It’s the kind of atmosphere that encourages you to slow down and savor every moment.
One of the most memorable touches was the cacao prepared tableside — rich, aromatic, and fascinating to watch as it was crafted right in front of me. That experience alone spoke volumes about the level of care and intention they bring to everything they serve.
The food itself was exceptional — vibrant, artful, and clearly prepared with great attention to detail. Each plate arrived looking like a piece of art, yet delivered the kind of deep, satisfying flavors that make you immediately start planning your return visit.
What truly elevated the experience was the staff. They were incredibly attentive, genuinely friendly, and graciously supported us in English, making everything feel effortless and welcoming.
We left completely charmed and already looking forward to coming back. If you appreciate beautiful spaces, thoughtful hospitality, and food that delights both the eyes and the palate, Azul is an absolute must. Highly recommend.🥰

We had a great experience at Azul. The menu was approachable, servers were helpful, and food was good! We really enjoyed the gorditas and tortilla soup. We would only advise choosing a different entree as the mole enchiladas were not our favorite. We would recommend Azul!

Very nice and upper-scale dinner experience. Overall a bit pricey but enjoyable.
We were guided upstairs although downstairs seemed more lively and warmer. All patio upstairs were fully open on the chilly night we went there. We asked that they close the windows but still had to wear our jackets throughout the whole dinner. I noticed everyone sitting upstairs were doing the same…
Service was good.
Food-wise, I had the Enchiladas de Mole Negro Oaxaqueño. They were good but not the best I had. My friend had the Empipianadas rellenas de minilla de camarón. As per her, they were just ok but quite tasteless.
But, the dessert was worth the whole dinner. We shared the Pay de Naranja Agria and it was seriously to die for, delicate orange taste, crunchy delicious almond crust. It was a delight.
