Central Asian-themed restaurant with distinctive foods from the region of Uzbekistan. I had the lunch meal of the same name as the restaurant - it was tasty, nothing that blew my mind. There was a good amount of meat on a hill of rice, carrots and garbanzo beans, all well seasoned. It was not cheap, but not out of the ordinary - prices are generally high. Grilled meats seem very popular, but didn't get around to trying any on this visit.
Bland salads, none of them worth mentioning. The meat savory appetizers were fine but the filling was almost watery in one of them, something that should not have happened. The skewers were good but the chips were frozen and tasteless. My advice is skip the salads (28 NIS) per person and concentrate on the savory pastries and the skewers. Deserts seem mediocre, we tasted two and there were not memorable.
Food was average, not amazing, but the reason I won't return is that the waitress decided to give themselves a bigger tip than I asked her to add. Very decepetive and with no apology when I challenged her which suggests it wasn't a mistake. Find some place better to eat.
