I had such an amazing experience at this sky bar/restaurant in Bangkok — honestly, it’s the best place I’ve visited here and 100% worth it.
From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. A special mention has to go to Neil, who was incredibly kind, respectful, and genuinely made us feel so comfortable. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and his friendly attitude really stood out.
The rest of the staff were just as lovely — attentive, polite, and always happy to help with anything we needed. You can really tell they care about their guests and take pride in what they do.
Overall, such a memorable experience with great vibes, amazing service, and a team that makes you feel valued. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bangkok — you won’t regret it!
Akara sky Hanuman was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the energy of the place was unmatched. The food was absolutely incredible, and as vegetarians, we were delighted by the variety of delicious options available.
We spent the entire day there exploring, enjoying the activities, and simply soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. As evening approached, the sundowner from the 61st floor was nothing short of magical. Watching Bangkok light up beneath us, with its stunning skyline stretching as far as the eye could see, was an experience we’ll never forget. Great food, amazing vibes, and views that were truly out of this world.

Beautiful rooftop with a great view and a very nice atmosphere. The design is elegant, the music fits the vibe, and the cocktails are well made. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy Bangkok from above, especially at sunset.
The only downside was that the service was a little bit slow, but overall it didn’t ruin the experience.
Definitely worth visiting.

Straight up how to get in wasn't clear, we walked in from the street and up the nice parkland at the front with the cool sculptures and water features. When we got into the building there wasn't any obvious direction where to go, we ended up asking a security Guard who told us to go into the back building and downstairs. We bought the package online that included dinner. The food served was excellent, so 5 stars for that but the rest was so-so. The staff were all super friendly though it wasn't really clear who worked there as there seemed to be about five different types of uniforms, adding to this it wasn't really clear where we could/couldn't/should go so we needed to ask multiple staff what to do. The booking for dinner was in the cinema and there was supposed to be two movies played, but there was only one. The reflection room was cool! though there were broken mirrors on the floor. Siam Societies was a very cool space, but the bar was closed. The latern room was also very cool! The night markets were all closed on one side except one stall, and the ones on the other just had some games in them. The main bar area on the top floor was cool, nice atmosphere and the (very) short dance performance was good. The drinks are quite expensive and not exciting. Overall we don't regret going, but wouldn't pay to go again.

We visited Akara Sky Hanuman on a Saturday evening, and it was a mixed experience with some definite highs. Here’s the breakdown:
The Atmosphere & View
The ambiance of the place is fantastic. If you are looking for a beautiful spot to take in the Bangkok skyline, this is it. The rooftop views are stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for a sophisticated evening out.
The Vibe & Value
• The Entry Fee: There is a 1000 THB entry charge, which is something to keep in mind before you head up.
• The Crowd: Surprisingly, the place was not fully packed even for a Saturday night. While this made for a more relaxed experience, it did feel like it missed that iconic Bangkok party vibe you might expect from a high-profile rooftop bar.
• The Food: The menu options are fairly simple. It's great for light bites, but don't expect an extensive culinary journey.
Service
One area where this venue truly shines is the hospitality. The service here is top-notch—the staff are attentive, professional, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit.
Final Verdict
If you want a breathtaking view and excellent service without the overwhelming crowds, this is a great pick. However, if you are looking for a high-energy party atmosphere, you might find it a bit too quiet.
