Ramen with Miso Broth

Ramen is a Japanese noodle soup of Chinese origin, often described as a Japanese-Chinese fusion dish. It fundamentally consists of Chinese-style alkaline wheat noodles served in a hot broth. Common broth flavors include soy sauce and miso, with typical toppings such as sliced pork, nori, lacto-fermented bamboo shoots, narutomaki, and scallions. Nearly every region in Japan features its own variation of this dish.
