We dined at Zlatá Praha on February 28th, and it turned out to be a truly magnificent surprise for us.
From the very beginning, we were taken care of by two exceptional servers, Olga and David. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail elevated the entire experience and made this dinner, which was a very special occasion for us, absolutely unforgettable.
We chose the tasting menu with the wine pairing, and everything was simply splendid. We were genuinely impressed by every single dish, from the very first bite to the very last. The menu is generous, of outstanding quality, sometimes surprising in the best possible way, and always perfectly balanced. The wine pairings were spot on and enhanced each course beautifully.
The entire team was incredibly attentive throughout the evening and even treated us to two wonderful surprises during the meal, which made the experience even more memorable.
The view from the restaurant is absolutely exceptional. Unfortunately, we arrived a bit too late to catch the sunset, which we slightly regret, but I can only imagine how magical that moment must be.
After dinner, we enjoyed a cocktail at Golden Eye, the bar located just next to the restaurant on the 9th floor as well, which was the perfect way to end the evening.
A special mention also goes to the chef, who previously worked in Paris, London, and New York before joining Prague, and who was kind and elegant enough to welcome us into his kitchen. A gesture we truly appreciated.
Thank you to the entire team for this truly memorable dinner. One we will never forget, and hopefully see you again very soon.

A few months later and I finally found the time to write this review...
We visited Prague during the Christmas markets, surrounded by festive music, stunning architecture and a cozy winter atmosphere. While the city itself was magical, one of the highlights of our trip was our dinner at Zlatá Praha.
From the warm welcome to the final farewell, everything was outstanding! We chose the tasting menu with wine pairing, and each course was just as good as the previous one. The staff were attentive, professional and helped making the entire experience feel ever more special.
The dinner lasted around 3 hours and costed just a bit over €500. At this price point, it should've felt like a Michelin-star experience, but although there’s still minor room for improvement, it undoubtedly ranks among the best dining experiences in Prague and the mighty star is for sure coming in the next few years!
I look forward to returning in the future.
Best regards from Bulgaria!
Absolutely stunning. Food, service and the incredible view. The food journey and wine pairing was perfection. Sphelo who looked after us with the rest of the team here were exceptional and made it a very memorable celebration for my partner and I. Huge thank you to you all we can't wait to come back.
Zlata Praha offers a truly elegant setting, with a warm ambiance that makes the dining experience feel special from the moment you arrive. The service is attentive without being intrusive, and the quality of the glassware and tableware complements the overall fine-dining atmosphere.
We chose the tasting menu with wine pairing. Overall, the food was decent, and the wines were consistently very good—while I didn’t feel any pairing was exceptionally transformative, each wine stood well on its own and supported the courses nicely.
The one notable miss was the pumpkin purée. Its gelatinous texture combined with chopped vegetables created a mismatch on the palate, and the high acidity felt out of balance with the intended flavor profile of the dish. This stood out in contrast to the otherwise solid execution of the menu.
Despite this, the evening was enjoyable, and the restaurant delivered a good experience. I simply expected a bit more refinement and harmony in some of the dishes given the reputation and price point.
A pleasant dinner overall, but with room for improvement
A warm yet thoroughly professional welcome set the tone for the evening.
The cuisine was precise and refined, with dishes that were thoughtfully composed and consistently delicious—clarity of flavours without unnecessary embellishment. It is evident that the kitchen values restraint and technique, which I appreciate.
Service was attentive and genuine. A kind gentleman from South Africa looked after us with quiet confidence and warmth, striking a balance between presence and discretion.
The overall service overlooked by Manager Mr Tomas. The wine service, led by the humble Mr Tomas, was equally commendable, with a thoughtful approach and good pacing. A pleasant guest appearance by Mr Vit added a personal touch to the experience.
I truly enjoyed the evening on 30 December. In my opinion, the overall experience comfortably meets Michelin-level standards, particularly in terms of consistency, service, and culinary precision.
A restaurant I would gladly return to and recommend.
