Our surprise find at Ueno Shopping Street. Location is pretty strategic.
Deco is has a lot of Thai ornaments and muay thai equipment.
Service is done with smile amd zero enthusiasm. Need to improve.
Food wise, some dish are similar to authentic Thai but some are not. Also the use of chilli is not consistent, our krapow lacks chilli but stir fried morning glory was overloaded with chilli.
But due to our craving for some home food, it was acceptable.
This place accepts cash only. Price wise is pretty standard at an average of JPY1,500 per dish.
Overall, enjoyed our spicy meal here on a cold Tokyo night 3℃.
We was there and have ordered 3 different menu. Everything went well except when we want to payable they accepted only cash. No problem, I went to get cash from next 7-11 Shop. After I paid I have heard unpleasant Thai words from Kitchen, a man said why no cash still come to restaurant. We are Thai and unpleasant to hear about that . It was bad experience. The old lady should take off wet gloves and give wet changes to customers!
This is my first time to come to eat in a thai restaurant. from the outside the restaurant looks convincing. but when i got to the restaurant i was very disappointed. the reasons:
1. Service shopkeepers and shop owners are very impolite. Do not use polite language and treat guests like their subordinates. Please study more how to speak polite japanese!
2. the place is dirty and dark. even as i sit at the table, my hands stick to the sticky table. like the former spilled sugar water left to dry.
3. The food serving time is very long, I waited until 20 minutes. even though only ordered 1 regular menu which should have been prepared from the start.
4. the menu price is quite expensive. I spent over 1500 yen just for a small bowl of plain white rice and tomyam soup which tasted average. and what was more disappointed was that only 20% of the tomyam soup was edible. the rest is just a collection of spices and shrimp head garbage. even the head of the inedible shrimp is bigger than the edible flesh.
So i will never come again to this restaurant and it is highly not recommended to eat thai cuisine in this restaurant.
Thank you
This is the first time me and my friend try this restaurant but it’s really bad. I’ve order Fried rice with pawn and Thai fried noodles with vermicelli. The first one is okay but the second one, a shrimp of this one still uncooked and really bitter. Then we call the staff to claim about that but they just take the dish and don’t say “sorry” or anything. That’s really the worst experience.
