I use to frequent DSB when they were located on 50th and Baltimore Ave. So I definitely had to give the new location a visit, and they never disappoints. Their pizzas have always been my favorite. I ordered the Flammenkuche, and it was absolutely delicious!!
I can’t wait to go back.
I went to Dock Street South last night, first of all I have to comment on the band. They were outstanding. But regardless of that, the sound system was set at the right volume where comfort and conversation are the primary concern so great job on that that's very unusual to find! Really nobody wants to scream and not be able to talk the point of going out is to talk to people. It seems like a nice family friendly environment, more so than the original Dock Street and the West Philly. So the issue is, the beer, mixed drinks, food and service were all amazing! I'd highly recommend, I've been going to Dock Street since the 80s and it's great to see it continue to thrive!

The pizza choices are thoughtful and unique. The taste is pretty solid. However, the pizza is soggy and the toppings and sauce slide off immediately when the slice was picked up. A fork is most definitely needed. This is true for the burrata bolognese pizza. I had to roll the slice up to eat it. Gordon Ramsey would not approve!

Hilarious place. I got charged $9 each for two citywides. I talk to the bartender because the price stunned me. He apologizes and explains that they're in the process of switching over to a new system so some of the totals may be off. Ok. I pay the correct bill after he fixes it for me. I just checked my credit card statement and what they charged is *not* what I tipped them - it's even more. What a breathtaking experience tipping 23% and still having the bartenders ring you up for more. The food is mid, beers are mid, service is mid. Good luck not tripping over a toddler or five next time you make your way out here.

Went for Happy Hour earlier today. Their DIPA was great. I got their boneless wings, and my wife got their turkey club. My order of boneless wings had to have been one of the most bizarrely small portions of food I've ever received at a restaurant. Roughly 4, small nugget size pieces. Wife's sandwich and fries were much more normally sized, but a bit bland. Will definitely go back for a beer and maybe to try other menu items, but will definitely be ignoring the happy hour food menu..
